Recycling and Installation

At the checkout you can opt to have your old appliance collected and recycled, and if you live within our direct delivery area (see GAP Logistics below for details) then we can install too.

Note that Pallet Network and DPD services do not offer either installation or recycling.

Recycling Refrigerators

Due to the surge in pricing for recycling of refrigerated appliances within the UK, we currently can only offer recycling services for fridge freezers if you live within our direct delivery network as we can process these directly within our group - see GAP Logistics below for details.

Our Couriers

BJS Home Delivery

All large appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers and refrigerators via BJS within mainland UK -- if you live within one of our supported postcode zones (details below) then we'll personally deliver your order via GAP Logistics.

BJS also offer a range of recycling and installation services (installation supported only on some product types) available at the checkout.

DPD

Delivery is £10 for delivery of small appliances such most tools, microwave ovens and spares, these we'll ship using DPD within mainland UK.

GAP Logistics

To offer you a more personal and reliable service, we've launched our own in-house logistics team. We now handle deliveries directly throughout much of the North of England, instead of using a third-party service. Please refer to our shipping schedule below to see if your postcode is covered.

You'll immediately receive your tracking number and estimated date of delivery via email and text message, along with follow-up notifications the day before with your time slot. On the day of your delivery, you'll be able to track the progress of your delivery in real-time.

The Pallet Network

On some items, usually oversized items such as American Fridge Freezers or Range Cookers you'll see a small yellow message box highlighting that that particular item will be delivered on a pallet via The Pallet Network (TPN) to the nearest available kerbside rather than into your property.

Please ensure that on the day of delivery you are able to move what will likely be a heavy or physically large appliance from a pallet on a kerbside into your property before ordering. Unfortunately, TPN cannot assist you with this nor can they offer recycling or installation services so they won't be available to purchase at the checkout either.

Delivery via TPN is usually completed within two to three business days; this includes our lead time to prepare an appliance for shipping and collection by our local TPN agent.

Click and Collect

If you're local to our store here in Gateshead then you're more than welcome to collect your order from our retail store on Bath Road, just select ‘Pick-up’ at the checkout and pay using a credit or debit card via Shop Pay – sadly due to how Express Checkouts work we cannot offer Store Collection via PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Collection orders are generally ready within a few hours, but we'll send you an email notification when your order is ready – please don't come down to our store before receiving this notification as your item might be stowed somewhere we need to make accessible.

Remote Regions

Unfortunately, due to the oversized nature of the majority of our products we're unable to fulfil orders which require shipping to any of the following postcode blocks, we're working on a solution for this particularly for Scotland since we're "as the crow flies" not a long away from much of the region.

For the time being, if you place an order and require it to be delivered to any of the following postcodes, we'll have to cancel your order and reimburse your payment.

Shipping

How long and much is your shipping?

We have a flat rate of £30.00 for large domestic appliances, £40 for pallets and £10 for smaller appliances such as some hobs, microwaves and hoods - plus small items such as air fryers.

If you're lucky enough to live within Northern England then you might be covered by our own logistics team - see our Shipping Policy for further information.

Delivery times do vary from region to region, typically you should have your order within 3 or 5 business days but we have much more information in our Shipping Policy

Can you recycle my old appliance?

If you're ordering a large appliance such as Washing Machine or Fridge Freezer then yes, there will be an option at the checkout to have your old appliance taken away and recycled whilst having your replacement delivered to your home.

Can you install my new appliance?

Unfortunately, we're temporarily unable to offer home installations on appliances unless you live in one of the postcode blocks below in which case you are likely covered by our own delivery network.

We're currently only able to install freestanding appliances such as Washing Machines, Fridge Freezers, Tumble Dryers etc. We cannot install any integrated or cooking appliances.

Where do you ship to?

We ship orders throughout Mainland UK via a variety of couriers, but if you're lucky enough to live in the North East, Yorkshire or Manchester then we will likely deliver your order ourselves via our own delivery network.

Do you have a physical store I can visit?

We do indeed, we have a small retail store attached to our facilities here in Gateshead, for opening hours and directions check out our Retail Store page for details plus we often have a few appliances exclusive to the store.

The store does only have a couple of dozen appliances within it, if you are wanting to look at something found here on our website then note down the ID number, it's displayed on the product page as GRC-XXX-XXX

The Pallet Network

If you live in our delivery network, e.g. the North East, Yorkshire or Manchester then this does not apply to you as we'll deliver these appliances into your property.

Returns

How does your warranty work?

All our appliances are backed with our 12-month warranty, in the unlikely event something should go wrong we’ll replace or repair (whichever is most practical) your appliance for up to twelve months after purchase.

We have now partnered with Service Box who can offer extended warranties, please review any included documentation from your order or you can register your product with them using this link.

Can I also register the appliance with the manufacturer?

You can more often than not register your appliance with the manufacturer for special offers or usage tips and to enable any connected functionality, but as far as we’re aware no manufacturer will honour any warranties on refurbished appliances.

But you can register your appliance with our extended warranty service provider, Service Box.
