These are some of our most frequently asked questions, if the question you have isn't answered here then please get in touch

Orders

How do I cancel an order?

If your order hasn’t been shipped, then just reply to your order confirmation or get in touch with us using either of the methods below and we’ll get that sorted for you.

Can I place an order over the phone?

Yes, for smaller orders such as those under £79 or when purchasing additional services you can give us a call on 0191 916 9031 and we’ll take your order over the phone.

Sadly, we cannot take orders over the phone for anything over £79.

What is the grading system?

At Renew 2 U, we pride ourselves on the meticulous re-testing of refurbished appliances. Our 10 Point re-testing schedule ensures that every product is carefully examined.

Do you price match?

Price matching refurbished appliances is tricky due to each appliance being in a unique state but if you find a similar refurbished appliance elsewhere or even one sold by us on one of our channels cheaper than it is direct from our website then get in touch.

Shipping

How much is shipping?

We charge £30.00 for shipping on all large appliances and £10.00 for smaller appliances such as some hobs and microwaves, unfortunately we are limited to Mainland UK addresses only.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes, all our delivery partners provide tracking information so you can follow along as your order makes its way to you.

Which couriers do you use?

We have partnerships with DPD and BJS Home Delivery, BJS specialise in shipping large appliances such as washing machines, with DPD handling smaller items such as microwaves and hobs.

We also deliver items using our logistics team throughout Northern England.

When will you ship my order?

We currently ship orders from our base here in Gateshead every weekday excl bank holidays, our cut off time is 10:00 so for example, if you place an order at 10:30 on a Monday morning your order would ship on Tuesday.

Can I collect my order?

Absolutely, if you’re local to our store here in Gateshead or don’t mind a trip over here then just select ‘Pick-up’ at the checkout and pay for your order as usual, orders placed for collection are usually ready within a few hours for collection but we’ll notify you when your item has been prepared for collection.

Can I change my delivery address?

Unfortunately, we cannot really do this once an order is placed - the reason being is that your bank has authorised the payment based on the details provided at the time of ordering.

If you need to change your address please get in touch before we ship your order, if you have some documentation such as proof of residence at your new address (utility bill, council tax, correspondence from your bank) then we can look into it otherwise we'll likely need to cancel your order.

Returns

Do I get a product warranty?

Absolutely, when you purchase any of our refurbished or graded items, you’ll receive a complimentary 12-month warranty for peace of mind.

How do I return an item?

You can return an item to us within us 30 days of receipt by logging into your account and requesting to return an item to us, just remember to login using the email address you used when placing your order.

Do you offer free returns?

Sadly not, due to the bulky nature of the majority of our products we cannot offer free returns.

What happens if my item is damaged?

First off, we’re really sorry this has happened and we’ll endeavour to resolve your issue as quickly as possible – the easiest course of action is just to reply to your order confirmation and we’ll take it from there.

Can I return an item in store?

Absolutely, if you’re local to Gateshead and can bring your purchase to our store during opening hours (Monday-Friday, 8-4) then you can drop off your item with us and we can begin the returns process.
